And when it comes to breeding, you'll have a hard time keeping them from
spawning all over the place! But as the previous poster said, if they can
fit a fish in their mouths, they'll eat them. Nice fish though... Great
colors..

Linzi,

Go to www.petsolutions.com and get the "liquid food". It is designed
for fry, and worked well with my guppies......definitly worth a try.

we got 5 blue acaras in the end and they have been doing very well. 2
seemed to be friendly with each other right from the start and went a
very dark colour with thick black stripes. Yesterday we noticed that
they have had babies!!!! About 50 little ones are there and the
parents seem to be doing a good job of looking after them so far. The
major problem seems to come from one of our Rams, it relentlessly
tries to dive bomb the babies! The parents are keeping him at bay
though. I was wondering if anyone knew what to feed the babies on (if
anything) or do you wait until they are a bit bigger. Could they choke
on food that is too big (or does that sound stupid!!)
