black angels and malawis
bad idea...
its kinda like grouping tetras and piranhas together. There's cichlids and then there's CICHLIDS... On a more serious note, the angels are just a tad more aggressive then most community tropicals. They have those long graceful fins that just scream EAT ME! and they don't really move all that fast. Most Malawi cichlids are the exact opposite. It might work for a while if you put the malawi's in as 1" juveniles w/ say a 2/5" to 3" angel. But the malawians will growand eventually get territorial and eventually they'll clobber your angel. "david baker" wrote in message .. . we are new, i am, to fish anyhow and i would like to know if its sensible to mix a black angel and two malawis in the same tank. ive heard that angels are cichlids and shoudl be fine, then i heard not. who do i trust and who is right? anyone who has some constructive criticism, could you please help. greatly appreciated |
