Foxface Update
Over the previous weekend, I discovered my Foxface had cloudy eye in one
eye and Pop eye in the other. I placed him in a Hospital tank on Sunday, he stuck his snout out of the water when I did, and he shot water at me. (It reminded me of Flipper) I added the medication and left him. A day later I added seaweed as well as plankton. The seaweed a day later was nibbled on (So I know he's eating) Today I checked on him, his cloud eye has cleared up, the pop eye is less swollen , He's on the road to recovery. My question is, the instructions say to use the meds for 5 days. How long after he's cured before I can re-introduce him back to the main tank. I was thinking; do a partial water change in the HT to get him acclimated to non medicated water, leaving him in there and after a week or so do another partial and so on and so on. Is this the right or wrong way to getting him back to the main tank? Thanks |

Wayne, should I do the partial water changes before adding him back to the
main tank or after another week or so just put him back? "Wayne Sallee" wrote in message ... Great! I'm glad he's going to make it. I thought he was a goner for sure. I'd wait a week after everything looks good, to put him back in the tank. Follow the instructions for the medicine. There's no
need to do a water change in order to put him back.
