I find it is hard to get good specimens, so I have had a single one
for several years. He seems to be doing fine. They are peaceful
for cichlids, but can take care of themselves. They are also
somewhat of a surface dwelling fish. This helps prevent conflicts
with other cichlids, which are generally more bottom dwelling.

crush a few for it. It may learn to eat them, I trained an angel a long
time ago to do it.
