Moving to Another City come August

Hello Fishkeepers all,

My family and I are moving to another city within our fair province.
If we were simply moving across town I'd bring my fish friends with
me, however the new home will be between 1.5 to 2 hours away.

I'd like to check with some friends of mine first, but I need to
know if there is anybody in the Edmonton, Alberta, Canada area who
would have a good home for three Mountain Cloud Minnows, or two Cory
Cats?

As I said in the subject line, I won't move until August. If you're
interested please let me know by either following-up to this post,
or by an e-mail reply.

Thanks,

an hour or two is not all that long to transport a
fish.............people who show koi routinely transport koi for many
many hours on end in plastic bags / cardboard boxes. Just carry them
up to "Cold Lake" hahahaha

Why not move the tank with you?
It's done every day. No big deal.
Some fish travel for days before getting to shops, or keepers.
1-2 hours is no biggy.
There are steps that need to be taken, but all are quite easy.
Let the group know if you change your mind and will be moving the fish
with you.
That way we can give you the tips for an easy fish move.

Based on what responses I've been getting I may just do that. I've
been to thekrib.com and found this article:

http://www.thekrib.com/Misc/moving.html

Any other advice that would ease the transition for my fishy friends
would be appreciated.
