Options for a 20L?
I setup a 20L (20gal "long") at work recently, currently cycling. Any
cichlids that would do ok in this smaller tank? What type and how many? Otherwise, I may just go community. Thanks. |

Thanks. neutral pH, you could go with pair of Jewels, pair of Kribs, pair of Flag cichlids, couple pair of rams, apisots, etc. One pair. ;-) Hard water, high pH, you could do an pair of shellies like Lamprologus brevis, or a community of Lamprologus multifasciatus. You could do a pair of Neolamprologus brichardi or any of their kin. Maybe a pair of Julidochromis transcriptus or Julidochromis dickfeldi. The possiblities are endless. Amateur |

Amateur I might go the Jewel route. One Pair :) My other thought was to get a school of tiger barbs. I hear they're cool, although not cichlids :) thanks |

Just one tank ;) I understand the confusion, as I believe only us Americans use gallons where the rest of the world uses liters. A 20L is a 20 gallon tank. But it's longer and has more surface area than the normal 20 gallon tanks. Typically, you see it abbreviated as 20L. AC |
