Silicon Valley Aquarium Society Meeting This Saturday, January 3rd
 

Happy New Year!

We have a great speaker lined up this month to start us off, too.
Gerald Griffin will speak on "Wild Bettas". Gerald is the chair of the
International Betta Congress' Species Maintenance Program. He will
discuss care, keeping, breeding, and conservation of all manner of
wild bettas. If your experience with bettas so far ends at the common
splendens, be prepared to enter a whole new world of weird and
wonderful bettas!

Judging from the list of fish he's bringing to the auction for us and
his presence on our mailing list the last few weeks, I'd say this
should be a most fascinating evening.

As usual we will meet at the Round Table Pizza 4400 Stevens Creek
Blvd in San Jose. Our speaker will start at 7pm. There will be a
raffle and auction afterward. The Bowl Show is open to all entries.
Come early for social hour and to order food.
