In the first stage of this cycle the sedimentation occurs. The sedimentation is the origin of limestone and chalks. Once the sedimentation is complete various limestones formation can be experienced there. When the water has magnesium in its content then dolomitization will occur. In case of dolomitization the calcium ion crystals get replaced with the magnesium ions.
