common vs scientific names
Does anyone know of a site that gives common and scientific names of
Central/SA cichlids? I am new to cichlids. The b/f has had them before but he wasn't very precise about them. We have had several of them for a month or two now, and I have a book with the scientific names, but it doesn't give any of the common ones. And it's not like every fish looks just like the pictures the book has. :-) TIA, Nicole |

Nicole may have written: Does anyone know of a site that gives common and scientific names of Central/SA cichlids? www.fishbase.org Use it to search the common name and it should return possible matches for the scientific name. Fishbase.org contains information on most fish species not just aquarium fish. |
