Swordtails?!

hey, im fairly new here.. i have 3 sword tails in my tank , 2 females and
more male...lately the female had some fry, only 2 are left! so i guess the
other fish ate them, i looked EVERYWHERE for them. (took all plants and
objects out 2).... yeah so the 2 fry are in a 3 way breeder with the 3
adults above them, i would like to have them mate again and breed some more
fry... what do i have to do exactly?

I would suggest that you leave the adults together and keep a close eye on
them. When you see one of the females looking pregnant and ready to burst,
move her to a tank of her own and let nature take it's course. Be sure to
move her after, though, so she doesn't eat the babies. This is what I did
with my guppies.

Are you intrested in having them spawn again? This is what it sort of
sounded like.. I believe they would very much be like guppies ( it has been
a wile for me to be very intrested in Swords and other live bearers ) . I
would expect the females to go in a about 21 to 28 day cycles of carrying
the fry to birthing.. I would suspect, because these are semi related to
guppies, that you may encourage the females into pregnancy you feed them
blood worm a week after they have spawned for about three or four days and
they will most likely bring another brood in just under a month.. In my
expieriance with gups, freeze dried blood worm or fresh frozen blood worm
seems to be as effective.. Give it a whirl, and let us know what happens..
