Goldfish & Black Phantom Tetra
All,
Can i keep Black Phantom Tetras (less than 1 inch) along with a
goldfish (1 -1 1/2 inch) in a 10 gal planted tank.

This is a general alert for all the folks who rely on water testing at
a local fish store. If you see the LFS testing water with a dip stick

Weird case of dropsy?
Try feeding green peas (shell removed) dipped in castor oil for a few
minutes. Feed in small quantity ( the idea is castor oil should be
consumed by the fish) Stop feeding everthing else & obseve for...

Nitrate Control
Can something else be grown in an aquarium just to absorb the nutrients
from the water ..like bamboo, wheat grass, anything which grows roots
fast enough to absorb some nutrients .. i may be thinking...

Rocks - Water parameters
Is keeping rocks in a aquarium safe for the fish. I found a few rocks
similar to the stepped red rocks in walmart & I was not sure if they
would alter my water parameters any way.
