IF you do not have soft water, that is you have sufficient hardness and your pH is
above 7, then you may want to try copper sulfate... it comes in treatment for ponds.

get wet pack krill and see if they float with small pinches of that. you might be
able to get the fish to come to your fingers and give them their pinch to stop the
piggies from pushing in to get it...

find out what the temp is, should be close to 78oF, then get the test kit for
nitRATES. should be less than 20 ppm
with 6 fish, probably gravel that hasnt been pulled out and cleaned in the last...

nitrates are normal? really? usually algae responds to nitrates, altho, if the fish
are spawning this can spike ammonia and you might not catch it.
I am pretty surprised with that fish load and...

diseased. new fish bring in disease, give the disease to fish already in the tank.

no. their eggs are laid in a burst of singles.
you have a goldfish bowl. EACH goldfish needs 10 gallons of water for healthy life.

most rains the water just leaks out over the top, but where there are heavy rains and
during hurricanes ponds do overflow and fish do get out and lost. A friend in the
path of hurricanes goes out...

cement ponds tend to crack about the same as swimming pools. most of us use dark
liners, altho it doesnt matter because fuzzy algae will colonize all surfaces anyway
and look a nice, natural green...
