Far from perfect, but it's dropping!

Yeah.....that small tank and that stupid undergravel filter. Do you
recommend the Aqua Clear hang on the back filter? I keep adding AmmoLock
to the water every other night, cause the ammo levels are...

I'm Happy With My Gouramis...BUT
They are much more hardy than Goldfish..and they are labyrinth so they
can breathe oxygen. The water is crystal clear at last. The only problem
is the ammonia level is off the wall. I have to do...

When Removing Water...PAT
I feel I need to wash off fish waste and uneaten food. But then again,
in rinsing the plastic plants and little rock cave, I also feel I might
be removing the good bacteria.

When Removing Water
I also remove the plastic plants, and decoration, and then I rinse the
plants and decoration with hot water.
Should I be rinsing everything in the tank, or just tending to my water

Are There Any Fish That A Gourami Will...
beat up to a pulp, other than another male gourami? I heard these fish
can be territorial. Should I put my small corycat in with him? These are

How Often Should I Feed My

My Undergravel Filter Quit...Pat
Both of the filters are Undergravels. One seems much more powerful,
though. The guy in the Pet Shop said he's never had a problem with them.
I didn't know they weren't for beginners.

such scaredy cats! They are so very shy! Why do they sit on the bottom?
Sometimes he swims, but then he goes right back down to the bottom and

My Undergravel Filter Quit
It's up and running again. But I would never use an undergravel filter
again. Too much work with gravel getting in the way.
