larger fish can get stuck to the end and die.

Blend up a mix of veges
then dry them into 'wafers'
store in an airtight container.

Lettuce is fine. My Apple snails love Spinach. I feed them celery and
carrot too. (I'm convinced that carrot does wonders for their shell
colour).

I used to buy plants, only to have them dissolve and die off in my 120L
tank. Better lighting and flourish excel, combined with a better choice
of plants bought on-line has worked wonders. Algae...
