OK, I'm the one who is always going to have weird ideas so here's what I've
been thinking. Coat the PVC in silicon and roll it in crushed coral,
position some live rock and maybe it will somewhat...

sump design question
As stated previously, the water is not going to get clean in one pass. With
that in mind what if you design a sump where the water comes from the main
tank and drains into the center of the sump. ...
