Well after drawing it out on paper, and getting the shapes and sizes
of all of the preforms that are available locally it looks like the
wife is going to be getting another half barrel added. I could only
fit a kidney shaped 40 gal preform in the area due to a Tea Olive
tree we have in that area, and moving that tree is not an
option.....so she is happy with just another barrel added, and then
she stated, we could always build a pond along the fence of the patio,
if you want...........so now once I get her half barrel additon
finished, I need to start figuring out what I need to build a bona
fide koi pond with a real filtration system. Sure will be nice to be
able to see the koi in full color instead of how they look in a
natural pond that does not have clear water, although its clean water.
Ball park size is 5 feet deep, with some ledges, 22 feet long and 14
feet wide.
