As each of them have their own personallity, some of the bettas are more
nastier than others....
My betta lives with my apple snail, but you can try corys, large neons.
Tank mates with bettas does depend on tank size. What size tank are you
talking about here??

Here is where my points come into play... all the guppies we have are
fancy guppies. In the 45gallon tank, the interaction was minimal, and
I never observed negative interactions.
Every community is different. You can have a perfectly peaceful tank,
have water conditions change slightly, and suddenly one fish may
become nasty.
From the few replies, you get a cross section. Common wisdom states
that the Betta will most likely be aggressive to the smaller brightly
coloured fancy guppies. As my tank shows, it can work, though.
