Yes good price, buying on-line and add shipping, still a good price.

But 500gph may be too much current for your application, I was just
giving an example ( 8(|).

Pushing the water thru the media may slow it enough, or are you going to
pull it thru?

From what I have read you should not restrict the input to the pump but
restriction the output is OK? But most canister filters have the pump
post media (Fluval etc.). See, now you made me confuse myself again 8^).
