One thing for sure is you are massively overstocked.
You should stock at 10 gallons per fancy goldfish, 20 for comets/commons
or 3 gallons per inch of fish, whichever is greater.

Does the comet look like he has fungus? What are your ammonia, nitrite, nitrate
and
PH levels?
