It's simple. No FAQ required. Don't reply. Ignore them. They're
simply trying to get a response. If they do, they've won. If you
suspect trollbait, just move on to the next thread. Delete the post
if you have to so you won't have to think about it.

Most newsreaders have a "filter" or "killfile" feature which can be set
to automatically ignore posts by a particular person, domain, or with a
particular word or phrase in the subject line. For a 30 sec a day
effort, you can keep the newsgroups you read practically spam and troll
"free." - Check your newsreader manual.
