Thanks NetMax, unfortunately I have scoured most of the cichlid webs with no
success, thats why I'm asking here and anywhere else that may help answer my
questions ie: what are they and will they co- habit with the aforementioned.
The pics were posted twice on alt. binaries.aquaria, the first time was
just a little large, sorry new to posting to newsgroups and stuffed up.
I do however read and practice a hell'uva lot of stuff that you people
recommend.

N They are cichlids. How much more do you need to know? ;~) My guess is
N that they are African cichlids, from lake Malawi, known as mbuna. That
N might narrow the search down.
