The Ich in the Gills is something I hadn't considered. The infestation
didn't seem that bad, but that is a possibility I guess. We have gone
two days after the water change(I have routinely been mixing half
distilled during a water change) and half dose of Quick Cure, and I
don't believe any of the fish have ich spots. I was a bit concerned
about the water temp, but it was only 82. That fish happened to
survive a week when our AC was broken and the temp in the tank got to
85ish. I thought he was indestructible after that. The tank has a
pretty strong surface current from the filter, and a six inch bubble
bar in it. I think there is plenty of oxygenation, but I did reduce
the temp any way.

I'm thinking we are beyond the worst of it with the Ich now. *Knock on
