I am looking for suggestions regarding an air pump for 4-6 tanks from

10 -
20 - 30 gallons
thanks
Lance

I actually don't own any quite yet but from what I have read/heard and

seen
the dolphin series of pumps look like the best jack of all trades pumps.

You
could get one of the biggest version of dolphin pumps that has 5 powerful
outlets and thus only have to buy one, I think. For simple, little, pumps
the rena pumps look and sound (quiet) best, but you almost assuredly would
have to buy a number of them for all of your tanks if you want all of them
aerated in some way. Same with the luft g pumps (my favorite pump I

actually
own), but they supply the most pressure compared to all others except for
the danner dynamaster # 2 exceptionally mechanical belt driven pump that

has
2 outlets (probably the noisier of this bunch) being that it advertises a
pressure ceiling of 10 p.s.i. (the luft g pump has a pressure ceiling of 7
p.s.i., the others have less I am pretty sure) which is supposedly enough

to
drive more than one protein skimmer if you're interested in salt water.

I'd
like to find out more about the hydor air pumps like Gill was talking

about.
