Hi,

I have 4 male Platy and 1 male Guppy in a 10 gallon tank.
I have added 1 male Platy last saturday and this one is very aggressive
with other.
I think this is cause of stress in other Platy.
In your experience wich are the best solution ?
Can I Do ? Add 3-4 females or remove this "killer" male Platy ?

Thanks
Luke

Some of my male platies got along (sunsets) and the redwag junior males did
not. They do eventually "grow" out of it, usually when older males keep the
young ones under control. If yours are all young from LFS, a 10g is too
small for more, they get to 2" around 7 months old. In a small tank, 1 male
to 3 females is the minimum as the males harass them constantly, leading to
constant fry. If the 3 get along without the 4th, could you take him back to
LFS? Don't get females unless you take 3 of the males back. What about 3
male platies and a couple more male guppies instead? Mary
