Most 55 gallons tanks are not very wide and it is hard for a full grown
oscar to turn around. You should get a bigger tank or a custum tank. I have
a 60 gallon custom that is quite wide (18") and my oscar turns fully
strechted out. Mine is 11" long (hard to really measure).
