My water source is tap water, but i have been looking into a RO/DI to help prevent some of the water imbalances i have, especially if i want to put corals and whatnot in it eventually. I have a 55 gallon but only have 1 chromis and 2 turbo snails in it right now so thats probably not the problem. and i do have a skimmer that i run right now even though i dont necessarily need it to be running, but it help in water circulation so i keep it on. And my filtration would be the Fluval 3 so. i am thinking of adding another hang on filter but im not sure yet and ive never even thought about looking into a refugium bc i really dont know much about them or how they work, etc.
