I recommend that you pick up a spare impeller. One of the times I tore
down my 2215 to correct a rattle, I found that a portion of the plastic
on the impeller had cracked apart (needing replacement). After measuring
the thickness and tolerances, I leaned on Eheim for what was potentially
a design weakness, and they eventually supplied me with a replacement at
no charge. I keep spare impellers for my Fluvals too in case anyone
suspects me of being impartial ;~).
Hmm, I have two Fluvals and one of them is about a year old. Where do
you get the spare parts and what other spare parts should I keep?
