What is the strangest position anyone has seen a Clown Loach sleeping in?

Hi All,
Any of us that keep or have kept Clown Loaches I guess are more than
familiar with the sleeping "Clown Loach Heap" which still tickles me
everytime I see them doing it - lol - my current CLs do it right at the
front of the tank which is great :-)
Anyway, today I was watching the tank and spotted one of the Clown
Loaches had perched himself on some driftwood. He was lying on his back
fins flapping away to keep his balance. It was kind of like he was
sun-bathing - lol. He got a bit of a shock when a Flying Fox tried to
perch on him - but he seems to have comandeered the driftwood from the
Flying Fox - he's back up there right now.
So this got me wondering what other people's Clown Loaches do or whether
mine are just weird.... :-)

My flock of 6 Clowns are interesting in how they relate to the to the
9 Siamese Algae Eaters. Both fish lie about a lot on the gravel. As
I read your post I glanced over and found a Clown and a SAE side by
side in between a plant and the front glass of my 75 gallon tank. The
2 species often swarm together. I have seen several of each do a
"follow the leader" act through a tunnel in some plants. They seem to
me to be "soul mates."
