Hey Larry,
Aw, shucks..... blush Ya' know how to compliment a guy!
Seriously, the plants that seem to have taken over my tank, started as
a little-bitty one.... Large Leaf Ambulia is the common name. If you
like that, you ought to see my Rubin Sword now!!! Oh, the Amulia grows
extremely fast, good to detect nutrient problems.
The key to my success? Well I am still learning, but that was a growth
explosion just after the addition of my homemade hood (128W of T8s) and
DIY CO2. I use Sera tablets and Sera leaf fertilizer by the directions.
I use South Carolina red clay for my substrate, (against the advice of
some). So I don't have an iron problem

YMMV - Good luck!
Oh, by the way, a guy named Chuck Gadd has an excellent Aq site with a
chart to help target a tank's specific nutrient deficiency:
http://www.csd.net/~cgadd/aqua/art_plant_nutrient.htm
I hope that helps!
