Sorry I havn't been on in a few days. The fish have been keeping me busy!
My 20 gallon tank is still trying to cycle. So far I have gotten a rise

the nitrites AND nitrates. I'm puzzled! I just keep doing water changes

25% to bring the levels back down to survivable.

## I've got the SAME problem with a 10 gallon quarantine tank. I've
ammonia and nitrites both, in just this one tank. I doesn't want to finish
cycling. :-( I'm also doing water changes, but of about 40%. My tropical
houseplants love "used" fishtank water.

Sharky and Face seem to
be doing OK so far. They are both Comets, and growing nicely. I am
already
looking at the possibility of putting in a small pond for them in the
spring if my community association is ok with it. We'll see!
