That chart is off by at least 1 ppt. That table is form a soils hydrometer, calibrated to
69 F A friend of mine made a calculator for us base on the empirical equation. Most
floating hydrometers in this hobby are calibrated to 75 F. The Tropic Marin is calibrated
to77 F. If it is a swinging arm hydrometer no calibration temp is needed just read it
direct.
