For good deals on PC type bulbs right now Drs Foster and Smith
have
some super prices on SUNPAQ bulbs which are among if not the best
bulbs for marine fish/reef tanks.....They have em in all flavors
and
sizes daylight 10K, 50/50 and 03 actinics and a few other oddballs
as
well.

Biggest problem is going to be heat buildup and fans are readily
available at places like radio shack or any electronics supply
house
or online for dirt cheap....MOst LFS and places that cater to fish
get
an exhorborant price for these relatively cheap fans so look
around.
Go with a 12 volt and get a variable voltage wall transformer
power
supply, so yu can vary speeds on the fan to suit conditions, as
its
rare your gonna need to run it full speed anyhow, and then at
least
you can easly slide the switch on the power supply and slow the
fan
down, which also makes it a lot more quiet.
