Default general goldfish question!

I've noticed in the stores that most goldfish have "normal" eyes (a
dark center usually with a metallic ring around the outer edges) but
some (mostly calicos) have one or more "black" eyes without any outer
edges. Are these "blind" eyes? or normal? Thanks! Lisa
I can't judge by their motions since they're so overcrowded they bump
regularly.

Normal, it's just the color they happen to be. Sometimes part is
black, part is colored.
