Why shouldn't mix GF with other fish?
GF are more of a colder water fish and do not do well in the higher
temps most tropical fish tanks are kept at, and visa versa. Most
filtratin systems are usually insufficient for gF but easily handle a
load of typical tropicals. Usually diseases are specie specific, and
not transmimttable to humans.
GF are not toxic, they just produce more waste than the average
tropical does so therefore you get more of a bio load, but the main
thing is the temperature preference, which water changes etc or any
other process is not going to solve.

I have 3 questions about mixing fish:
Is it due to the toxicity GF spread in the water?
How about if you take care of the water condition with weekly water changes?
Are humans suceptible to fish diseases in any way?
Thanks in advance for your comments,
Ruben
