GF, especially fancy GF do much better at 75oF. They are not cold water fish, it is
an oft repeated mistake because GF can survive lower temps. however, they do not
thrive at lower temps.
GF do make more wastes and drive nitrates high in a tank. trops wont survive high
nitrates. most people overfeed GF too, which drives nitrates up.
GF will eat anything fits in their mouth. including smaller fish. they really are
"meat eaters" since the only thing GF can digest are proteins and fats. many people
think they are plant eaters. they arent.
humans and fish share diseases, including strep and staph infections. but a form of
skin TB is perhaps the best known. it just isnt a good idea to put hands in the tank
all the time. Ingrid

it due to the toxicity GF spread in the water?
How about if you take care of the water condition with weekly water
changes?
Are humans suceptible to fish diseases in any way?
