Do the same thing that you did with the toadstool.

The rest of the story .....
A coral has some type of rott on it. All my others are doing well-mushrooms,
polyps & clam
One was recently given to me was attached to the rock via elastic- and the
next morning - it had fallen off. There is a terrible stench to coral now.
What do i do??AUGHHH = I did place it back on the rock with the elastic ban,
but it did the same thing. ( the other frag i was given at the same time is
doing very well and has double in size) so i am "FRAGGLED" about this
frag!!!
It was perfectly healthy when i put it in. I have searched the net, but with
no avail.
There is no color difference it just seems to turn mushy and disintegrate
till nothing is left - (this happened with the a toadstool I got a while
back and i cut the rotten parts off)
Do I have maybe a pest among the tank, or a parasite.
Should I flush them (oh lord no!) When the toadstool did it, i just cut off
the parts that were disintegrating.
