What's the hurry? I'd keep him in quarantine for two weeks to be sure.
Some folks even quarantine for three - I'm not a fan of that for a lone
shoaling fish.

To give your little loach a chance to eat, break up sinking foods or
feed small pellets so he can find something without getting bullied.
