Default How to get rid of Aptasia outbreak

I squirted them with very hot water. I tried several other options as
well. You must be very careful with this method, as any other
critters close to the point of application will be killed, as well as
that section of live rock.

I have a major outbreak of Aptasia in my tank and know with time it
will damage my coral. I have heard of all types of ways to get rid
of
them such as getting peppermint shrimp, getting a syringe with
needle
and use it to squirt vinegar into them and as well buying solutions
that you can insert with the syringe. I have tried the latter but
unfortunately when I get close to them they close up so I am not
able
to do this. As well, I heard if you break them apart they
multiply.
Any suggestions on how I can solve this problem?
