No, the only thing I'm hallucinating about is a 5 or 10 gallon tank
down the road, not smoking anything-sorry, you'll have to provide your
own...

Forget those little tanks and go for a 30Long at the least.

Hey, if you're gonna dream, dream big. I have a 15 gallon tank that I
have set up solely for a dozen very young albino corys. My lfs can
sell them as fast as my fish produce them. It's fun setting up a tank
where everything, substrate, plants, water chemistry, furniture,
everything is designed to make corys happy. And the half grown albinos
are providing non stop entertainment for anyone who pauses to look. A
couple of days ago, I picked up 4 green corys for my 55, my main
display tank. All of my tanks are relatively new, I am just now
getting down to waiting an entire week between water changes. After I
did the change in the 55 this morning, the new green corys went
straight to business, spawning like crazy. After having just yesterday
described how simple it is to set up a quicky hatching container, I
realized today while watching mine spawn that I don't have an air
pump, no MarOxy or methylene blue, no airline tubing, no nothing. I
could run up to my lfs and pay 4 times the web price for these things,
but I guess I'll have to listen to Missus Gardener, who owns the
credit card. Her comment, while watching the beautiful, magical
splendor of spawning: "We're not ready for them, so it looks like
caviar for whoever wants it tonight." Ah, Honey, where's your sense of
romance and adventure? Where's your credit card?
