Thanks Marc, that's what I was thinking 1" should be enough to carry it if there isn't a lot of over hang.

We moved a 55g with a 4" DSB from the back bedroom to a pickup truck, and from the truck to its new home without incident. And we didn't use a board, btw. 4 people carried it.

Buy some new trashcans ($7 at Home Depot) and use them to move water, rock and corals. Don't disturb your sandbed at all if possible.
