are you testing it in fresh water ???
Yes, I am testing in fresh water, prior to modifying my sump. I am letting
it run for the breakin period and it has about 2 hour of continous
operation.

man did I nail that one , guess i had the advantage its poped up before often.

as stated dont use FW for your break in period.
