Pleco dead. Not just dead, but his guts apparently eaten out. He's

hmm, wood fibre, algae tabs, zuchinni, various algaes and wood fungus (as
Richard says) and they should stay fine. I don't put much credence in
this pl*co business, but my plec can't read cause he only comes out at
night, so I should be fine ;~). Being emptied out is typical, but
doesn't mean your carnivores did it. If a carnivore can flip a plec over
and keep em still, then it can be meal time (hard to do though).

So now I'm looking at one of my Frontys swim to the top of his tank and
"gulp" air and swim to the bottom and "burb", all good fun for him, but
I was under the impression this wasn't good for them. What the hell is
going on??????

LOL, Fronts will do that. The problem is when they swallow the air, not
when they mouth and release it.

OHH GREAT!!!, now my Oscar just jumped out of his tank!!!!! No, not
really, but that's how I feel.

Wait till you get home to the sound of water trickling down the stairs.
When my 120g let go of the top of the front glass, it dumped about 60g
before the glass got pulled back in. That much water will soak a Gerber,
so then it just follows a path gravity makes for it. Poor fish were in
water 12" deep (left in the tank) with the most bewildered expressions
;~).

2nd prize was when my daughter insisted that I could not take a Rainbow
shark to the pet shop just because it didn't fit with my plans, and that
I should set up a completely new aquarium for the shark, which apparently
had become her favourite fish. So I set up a 20g in her room, put the
fish in and the next morning, I find it dried up on the floor (they are
good jumpers and it had found a hole). Before my daughter could notice,
I'm going from pet shop to pet shop looking to buy a Rainbow shark -
when the original plan was to get rid of the one I had *grrrr*.
