Yes, air injection does make added noise, but I beleive the added
benefits of oxygenation override the noice. The redox potential is also
increased (the oxidation properties of water).
Most stores that sell Via Aqua products carry thier internal filters, I
know they show up on MSN. American Aquarium Products carries them
starting at $8.99 for the 302. PS the 302 DOES NOT have the air
injection feature, but the 305 & 306 do.
