I disagree. I lost a beautiful $8 male guppy to an intake on an AC. I have
a betta here with most of it's tail gone that I found stuck to an AC
mini-filter intake when he was young. The sponge was old and fell off the
intake. If he was on his way out he's taking a long time to go.......

I do agree once they bid the earth farewell they usually end up on the
intake if it's not covered.


Then let us agree to disagree. I think the answer may lie somewhere
between our differences.
