added three "tiger nerites" to my planted tank and the older leaves on my
Hygrophila difformis are now lace. They look almost like these:

I've not caught the snails on the plant, but this is too rapid and severe
to be a nutrient problem and it looks like snail damage.
Anybody want three really cool looking, overpriced snails? I'm
considering escargot for dinner tomorrow evening.

Hi Altum,
So you got rid of this ugly "vegetable", but I would not blame the snails.
In my tanks, they do not touch even the most fragile plants, but they are
quite useful in removing film algae from the glass. Better keep them.
