Just how large and what type was the shark? How many gallons
approximately was the tank? Too often I have seen things like that where
the lifeform was used as a draw, to get people into the establishment,
with little thought to the comforts of the lifeform. I have a real
problems with places that do that,...or should I say, they end up having
a real problem with me, because I'm one of those legendary hard-core
stubborn red-heads, the kind that gets the real 'fire-in-their-eyes'
kind of angry when ever I see children or animals in harm's way, because
of the ignorance, greed or what ever of certain humans.~Dean.

No, it was well taken care of, with much room, they had people who came in
and took care of the entire thing, one being a marine biologist, the tank
was the size of the long end of the building (his place had 20 pool tables,
a dance floor, and a restaurant for dining) big place , I am surprised being
you live in Fl you had not heard of it, they were in Time magazine several
times in the 80 & 90's, The people who had the fish prior did not have the
room and tried to then pass it on to the zoo who at the time were not able
to take it, my uncle decided to put it in his establishment and there it
lived for several years until a permanent home was built for it. I never
followed what happend i was a bit younger when i left florida. I would have
to ask him when i talked to him what type of shark and those details.....
but it lived quite well during those years.
