I guess its ok as long as your the only one going with out food, me.... I
got kids who depend on me and daddy to make sure they all got cable in
their rooms, cell phones, and all the other comforts they have become
accustomed to, if we dont pay the bills they would be chasing behind us
waving them in the air.

Eeeeeek! Your kids have it made in the shade. When my son was young (60s
and 70s) I thought he was spoiled with a color TV in his room! Oh, his
grandfather bought it for him. He never asked for his own phone.

I had a phone in my room at 15 but had to pay my own bills from my job. I
was also expected to buy my own clothes. Since I never cared much for TV I
didn't have one until after I was married. I did have an aquarium in my
room. ;-) Having more space after I was married I bought a 20Long, then a
30g........

Anyway,....kids sure have it different these days.
