I would like to go on a short 7-10 day vacation. What should I do about
feeding? Normally I feed once or twice a day with flake or once a day
with a small cube of frozen mysid shrimp. My fish always have healthy
appetites and actually come to the top or front glass anytime I approach
the tank in hopes of feeding. I can probably get someone responsible to
feed them once or twice while I'm gone, but will that be often enough
given their normal feeding regimen?
I have a 40 gallon tank (breeder style)
3 blue-green chromis
2 false percula clowns
1 3 stripe damsel
1 bi-color blenny
1 peppermint shrimp
Assorted ghost shrimp, snails, and hermits in the cleanup crew
Approxiamtely 8 small soft corals from GARF (all doing well and growing)
Sand, mud, and coral gravel base
Lights, powerhead, and protein skimmer are all on timers so they're not
an issue
The tank is well established and extremely stable, haven't had an algal
bloom in ages. All inhabitants are seemingly healthy and quite active.
Thanks in advance.
