Default setting timing on the new lights

thanks Wayne, thanks Chris. I just set them up with those ideas in mind.

Wayne, ever had a parent tell you to keep your wet hands off their kids?

Run the moon lights at night.
Have daylight for about 12 hours.
For the daylight, have the actinics turn on for about an hour, and then
both lights on, then only actinics on for about an hour, then night light
on.

Basicly you are just trying to simulate conditons at the tropics.

I like this forum. You guys have been very helpful and keep it
interesting.

I just got my Outer Orbit lighting system by CurrentUSA. Awesome light
by the way. Anyway I've read a few opinions on timing the lights and
wanted to hear some "live" information and what's been working for
others.

I've heard any thing from 6 hours to 12 hours. I've also heard blue
lights for an hour then kick on the halides for 6-8 hours then blue
lights (actinic) again for an hour then the moon lights/no lights.

What has been working for you guys?

Thanks.
