Default small critter in reef tank

Yep, if it looks like a pill bug, then it's harmless. By
the way, bill bugs are also isopods.

Now there are parasitic isopods, but if you don't see any
on your fish, then your fine. The parasitic isopods, you
will see on the fish before you see them elsewhere.

Hi all, newbie and new member here,
I have a 60 gallon reef tank about 1 1/2 month old, it seems to have
picked up a small pill box type of critter in the skimmer intake, it
has pinchers on the back end of it. Any ideas if I should be worried???
Fish in tank are
1 Purculan Clown
1 Algae Blenny
1 6 line wrasse
2 royal gamma
1 turbo snail
1 very small hermit crab
anything else I have no idea where they came from.
thanks for any input

Hi all thanks for responding. Yes I have digital, but the clearity of
the pictures shows it clearly to be a gray smudge. Need more zoom, or
live rocks. The earwig is good anology for the pincers, and yes I
mean't pill bug. Guy at local fish store said it was some type of pod,
and there for fish food???
